The exposed coastal location of the Whisper Bay site demanded a durable and well engineered product such as Shutterflex’s wind load tested federation shutters. The technical skills of the Shutterflex team and experience with project management proved invaluable during the lengthy building period on this large scale development. A varied range of products were installed at Whisper Bay, both core products, such as the 85mm Sliding Federation Shutters as well as custom designed products such as the monstera leaf gates. Shutterflex screens and louvres allow guests to take advantage of the spectacular views on shaded terraces, sheltered from strong winds and rain. The screens and louvres serve a practical purpose of controlling the sun and heat while allowing breezes and views to be enjoyed. With such a large development, privacy is an important consideration and the screens on the end of buildings deliver on this.
