Structural testing of Federation adjustable blade panels by Uniquest Pty Ltd at the University of Queensland in 2000 confirmed that the shutters are structurally adequate to sustain the wind load required by AS 1170.2-1989. The report is available for your inspection on request.

Our roller shutters are currently undergoing technical retesting with the CSIRO to meet the BAL 40 standard. Our previous CSIRO Bushfire Appraisal was tested to a simulated "high" category bushfire for protection of windows from radiant heat as stipulated in CSIRO Appraisal Technical Assessment 329.
