This twelve storey building makes it mark on the Mackay landscape. The subtle variations in colours of the shutter panels provide a visual palette to the eye and coordinate with the colours of each unit’s décor. A conscious decision by the architect, this building is an excellent example of how shutters can enhance the visual aesthetic of a building.

The large balconies become livable spaces with the addition of the shutters, the sliding configuration allows residents to move the shutters along the track when the weather necessitates the need to shield the space from the elements.
